Welco Lumber has been involved in importing Russian forest products into North America for several years.
Located in the Vologda region, North of Moscow, Russia; Welco has the exclusive sales for Sophia Lumber Products and five related Mills for sales into North America; These five mills produce No. 2 Common and Better and No. 3 NLGA grades in both Norwegian Spruce and Russian Pine; 1x4, 1x6 and 1x8 are the primary products but they will also accumulate some 1x10. Our mills also run Edge Glued panels and Birch Plywood for the North American markets. We ship containers direct to the East Coast, USA and Texas and Welco Lumber also inventories boards in both our Charleston, SC and Baltimore, MD reloads. These boards are ideal for shelving and moldings.
