I have spent the last thirteen out of some twenty-plus years in the wholesale lumber industry with Welco Lumber Corp. The constant changes in the industry, the opportunity to mix with old friends and make new ones, and a desire to pursue lessons in every walk of life keeps my interest keen and each day fresh and challenging.
I am proud to be a part of the management team at Welco and remain committed to both our individual and collective success. Having recently completed an intensive two-year part-time Executive MBA program, I have a renewed appreciation for downtime. Much of this time will be spent with our new pug puppy, my rusty golf clubs, and Dalton's first grandchild.

I'm a proud member of the Welco team since joining in February 1997. I have been in the lumber industry for more than 20 years: the past 14 years in the credit and collection field. What I love most is working with Welco Lumber's clients and traders, ensuring that their credit needs are met. There is no other job like it - or any other job I would rather do.
When I am not at the office, administering the credit & collection operations, I may be found camping, enjoying the great outdoors, and spending time with my three grown children.

I joined Welco in 1999 bringing over 10 years experience working in the lumber industry. I am responsible for all Canadian sales invoicing as well as inventory control for several reloads. I also assist Les Cool in managing the inventory for timber and crane mats.

I joined Welco Lumber in August 2005 with lot of enthusiasm. After completing my Bachelor degree in commerce in 2001, currently I am working towards my CGA.
I am proud to be a part of Welco family and really want to learn more about lumber industry . My job responsibilities include Inventory Control and Invoicing. The fast paced, friendly environment and the great team here is the asset of our business.

After graduating from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Commerce in 2003, I joined the Welco team. As an introduction the wholesale lumber industry, my initial duties included performing inventory management and invoicing for several reloads. Recently, I have been performing more accounting-related duties; these include bank reconciliation, budgets, determining sales commissions and calculating inventory turns.
As one of the more recent additions to Welco, I am proud and excited to be a part of this rapidly growing company. Outside of the office, I enjoy snowboarding, rollerblading and spending time with friends.

In April 2005, I was delighted to join the dynamic team at Welco Lumber. In this role, I bring my experience in A/P (accounts payable) and I am excited to learn more about the lumber industry.
Outside of the office, I enjoy a busy schedule with friends which includes bridge, badminton, BBQing, hiking, and camping.

I started working in the Lumber industry in 1993 at a trucking/reload facility in Winnipeg MB. In January of 2005, I was let in on a little secret called Welco Lumber. By April 2005 I had moved my family to Vancouver to begin working for Welco. I love the thought processes and challenges involved in this industry. My main focus is to ensure our reloads, mills and customers are informed and satisfied with all aspects of the Commodities department.
Away from the office, I am the logistics/social coordinator for my husband and our 3 children.
Jacqueline Nahanee, Receptionist
I have been a member of the Welco team since May 2007. As the
receptionist, I have had the pleasure of helping our many customers. I am also working in the accounts payable department. Working with the great team at Welco, I am growing my knowledge of the lumber business. In my spare time I enjoy pilates, walking, travelling, and in the future I
hope to one day improve my golf game!
